Helping people with disabilities
Disabled people with special care and needs are being taken care of in a socio-medical center, welcomed in day care centers or benefiting from support at home, thanks to a dedicated resource center Departmental Office for Disabled Persons (Maison départementale des Personnes Handicapées de Paris, or MDPH).
Many Parisians receive legal aid financed by the City, as well as additional aid from the City of Paris Social Action Center (Centre d'Action Sociale de la Ville de Paris, or CASVP).
